better than a lot of kiddie games

keeping in mind this game is for kids it wasnt that bad, but just because its for kids doesnt mean it should lack powerups, anyone over 6 should probably avoid this though unless they just want to drown the little syringe wielding alien in stomach acid.

nice work

i liked the game and the song and the way the game kinda flows with the song, fun and challenging, I hope to see a sequel, you could relly mess with peoples heads by randomly changing shapes when they get a certain score. This is a good game if you like rythm games, mouse avoidance games or just need to kill some time, very nice work

wheres the beef?

you can just hold down one of the arrows and eventully he falls down, and why bother moving your fists at all? it doesnt matter where they are he can still hit you, the concept has some promise but this is lacking, im sure you could make a great and original boxing game, something with depth like speed and strength stats and be able to upgrade your boxer. you could even put luis in as an easter egg. as far as controls, all i had to do was hold the left arrow, theyre not buggy but they do need to be useful, and to a degree allow players to find theyre own style, I know i gave this a low score but I think you have a lot of potential

excellent

good variety of powerups, retro feel, good controls though i think you should have a mouse only option, just my opinion, good music, awesome variety of enemies, pretty decent replay value, a lot of this has been done before but you have some pretty unique enemies and i cant recall seeing powerups quite that big in any game like this ive ever seen lol, what can i say its a great game

Thanks for the review. I'll add diferent methods to control the player in the next version :D!

good

i like the realistic feel youre going for, maybe add a shop between seasons if you plan to make a sequel, challenging but not too addicting, and 2 minutes to shoot 9 ducks is too much time even for new hunters, a few tweaks and this would be a very fun game, the graphics were spot on and the gun noise was realistic

good work

your upgrades were good, but as master ketchup said your presentation could be better. it has an awesome retro feel to it, and the uprades add replay value, upgrades add "meaningful goals" to gameplay. i bet you most real gamers dont care if you have a black backround as long as the gameplay is good, and this is good, the game graphics could use some work and the sound does too, even if u made or used a seperate audio file from the flsh portal to use or have users play while the game is running to save on file space. You have talent, collab or keep it up, whichever works for you

its a video if anything

put a game with this video and ill vote higher

Hey man, what's up? How've you been? I'm happy you took the time to play and review my game. If you want, I can contact you when the sequel is up on Newgrounds!

nice preview

the music was good even though taken from another game, if your character select screen is this big however what room do you have for the game itself? as far as character select screens go youve done a good job and if this is any indication as to what the game will be like, i'll be looking forward to seeing the full version

hardly original

the game pace is way too slow for this kind of game, and as other reviewers said its nothing that hasnt been done before, 10 times better, even clones of games need a fresh spin to make them interesting. I'm sure this game was good practice for you, come back with a fresh idea and make the game speed apropriate for the gameplay.

ive seen worse

the concept isnt terrible but the execuion leaves something to be desired, aside from a higher score theres no real goal to aim for, no replay value. It takes some skill to play i'll give it that, throw in some reasonable goals to aim for, something to give players motivation to keep going and do better, aside from a higher score.
